TIME FOR PREPARATION: 15 minutes for preparation, 1 or more hours in a fridge, approx 60 minutes for baking | DIFFICULTY: EASY
INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium pineapple
- 05 cl rum
- 3 teaspoonfuls maple syrup
- ½ teaspoonful vanilla
- 30 g butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel the pineapple and remove the woody core. Cut it into pieces about 3 cm thick and place it in a ceramic baking bowl. Add the rum, maple syrup and vanilla, then mix thoroughly so that all pieces of the pineapple are completely covered by the marinade.
Leave for about an hour to release and combine all the flavours.
Heat the oven to 200 degrees.
Cut the butter into small pieces, add to the pineapple and put it in the oven. After the few minutes the butter will have melted; now mix everything together thoroughly. Bake the pineapple for about an hour while mixing carefully every 10 minutes so that it’s roasted on all sides.
Once it’s baked, take it out and serve.
This dessert is great when served both warm and cold.
